Our Story

Founded in 2007, Paper Trails was built on the principle that encouraging people to communicate through the written word will enhance their sense of self expression and deepen relationships with those around them. With that theory in mind, Paper Trails carries products that are distinctive in their bright design, clever style and witty charm. (Seriously, you’ll be laughing out loud at the section of snarky greeting cards.) The shop has over 1000 square feet dedicated to specialty paper.

Our People

Melissa Diemert, Bridal Manager
Since 2010
As the Bridal Manager for Paper Trails, Melissa works with customers who are shopping for save-the- dates and wedding invitations. From wedding and party invitations to table numbers and place cards, she’ll discuss design concepts, help with paper selection and review pricing options. She loves connecting clients with the perfect invitation, and is excellent at working within specific customer needs and budgets. After over eight years in the Nutrition field and a brief break to raise her small children, Melissa was looking for a change in her career direction. Paper Trails has been the perfect fit, drawing on her background in customer service and love for the written word. Melissa earned her B.S. in Nutrition and Food with a minor in Business from Kent State University, and resides in Lakewood with her husband and three beautiful daughters. Melissa works by appointment.

Maria LeFebre, Retail Associate
Since 2015
Maria has always had a passion for paper products and all the accessories that go with it, so she is really excited to be learning more about the stationary business. Maria just moved to Lakewood from Boulder, Colorado, where she recently graduated from the University of Colorado with her degree in Anthropology and Elementary Education. Working for several years in retail gave her great customer service experience and she loves connecting with customers to help them find exactly what they’re looking for. She would love to help you with your invitation needs. In her spare time, Maria loves to explore the city, try new restaurants, and read good books.
